I came to yoga in 2003 as a new college student seeking my center. I quickly came to understand the transformative nature of the practice and have been on the mat ever since. I received my 200-hour Yogahour teacher certification in 2018 under the tutelage of Neda Draupadi Honarvar. But first and foremost, I remain a student of the practice.
On the mat, I am most passionate about the power of yoga to reveal the humanity within and among all of us. I believe that the spaces between poses have just as much to teach us as the poses themselves. I believe that yoga has something to offer for everyone.
Off the mat, I am an attorney with a focus on capital and post-conviction cases. I love to talk about the law and social justice. You're likely to find me spending weekends gardening or hiking with my spouse Brandon and our two dogs, Josie and Bowie.
