I came to yoga as an injured high school runner seeking refuge from harmful physical and mental practices. Through yoga I found something that resonated: a path that was seriously powerful, postures that didn't take themselves too seriously. After completing a 200-hour alignment-based certification at Tough Love Yoga in Atlanta, I moved to Colorado Springs for school and taught Vinyasa Flow classes.
My classes are Hatha at the core, infused with music, poetry and humor as I aim to lead students safely through what can be a euphoric and also transformative practice. I offer students a supportive space for inner reflection, and enjoy bringing in texts where I can.
